Floating Logos

Matt Siber beraubt in seinem Projekt “Floating Logos” Werbetafeln ihrer “Beine” und lässt diese sozusagen über der Erde schweben. Das Projekt ist aufgeteilt in zwei Serien. Während bei Serie I der Fokus klar auf den Schildern an sich liegt, zeigt Serie II diese im Stile der klassichen Landschaftsfotografie in ihrem natürlichen Umfeld.

Elimination of the support structure in the photographs allows the signs to literally float above the earth. In some cases the ground is purposefully left out of the image to further emphasize the disconnect between the corporate symbols and terra firma.
