Banksy Fans entfernen komplette Wand um sie vor – ähhm – Graffiti zu retten

They spent nine days preparing the wall before it was taken away in a pre-dawn operation on Thursday. During the nine days someone slept by it every night for protection.
The removal operation and restoration work will cost thousands.

Das ist schon bizzar. Graffiti wird vor Graffiti gerettet. Wenn der Künstler gewollt hätte, daß sein Kunstwerk für die Ewigkeit sein soll, dann hätte er es bestimmt nicht an eine öffentliche Wand gepackt. Da fällt einem echt nichts mehr ein. Die ganze Geschichte gibt es hier. (via)
