Nollywood is said to be the third largest film industry in the world, releasing onto the home video market approximately 1 000 movies each year.

Pieter Hugos Fotosserie über die nigerianische Filmindustrie “Nollywood” sind definiv einen Blick wert. Ich wusste bis eben sogar nicht mal, daß Nigeria überhaupt so eine grosse Filmindustrie hat. Wenn ich mir die Fotos so anschaue scheinen dort Horror/Zombie Filme ziemlich hoch im Kurs zu stehen. In welchem Film der oben abgebildete Protagonist mitspielt kann man allerdings nur erahnen. (via)
